Frank A. Hale
Frank A. Hale and his family are life-long residents of Pasadena, Texas. He attended Pasadena High School and received a scholarship in football, and married his high school sweetheart, Donna who was the first cheerleader at San Jacinto College. He has an Associate of Arts Degree, a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree and attended seminary at Houston Baptist College, while Donna earned a certificate as a paralegal.
Frank is recognized and respected throughout the Houston legal community for dedication in effectively representing clients’ rights and interests. He understands the emotional side of divorce and brings a special compassion to each and every case. He also offers clients knowledgeable and competent legal advice and has attended many certification and training courses.
Frank worked for the City of Pasadena as an Assistant City Attorney, City Prosecutor, and Associate Municipal Court Judge; served as a substitute Judge for the Harris County Criminal Courts for over ten years; held the position of President of the local Pasadena Bar Association three times; received the Award of Merit for most outstanding overall program accomplished by a local bar association in 1984-1985 from the Texas Bar Association; was sworn in before the Supreme Court of the United States in 1985; and he is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer Association and Texas Bar Association.
He has been a pillar of the community and received the Certificate of Merit; Distinguished Alumnus, Pasadena High School; inducted into Pasadena Hall of Fame; served on the Criminal Justice Advisory Committee for City of Pasadena; chaired the Committee for the official Flag of Pasadena; received the Distinguished Directors Service Award by Pasadena Chamber of Commerce; received a sublime degree of a Master Mason; and served on the constitution and by-law committee for the OCAW local chapter.
Frank has participated in a mock Trials for certification of fire marshals. He worked for many years to provide the citizens of East Harris County a local facility in Pasadena where Wills could be probated rather than having to incur cost and expense of attorney fees to drive to Houston. He continues to help the community by putting on screening qualifications for judicial candidates He participated as a lawyer in the defense of the City of Pasadena in connection with the City’s liability and asset issues in the Econo mock Court hearing. He was a member of the Texas Committee on Law Enforcement Officer’s Standard Education Committee, and a member of the Texas District 4-B grievance committee. He has also presented many lectures to the local bar association and other groups of attorneys on family law and has written several articles for those lectures.
He was one of the first private attorney’s to be certified as a Breathalyzer operator and has given several lectures on the subject as well as other criminal issues. He has had the pleasure of defending thousands of citizens charged with alcohol related charges, including police officers, teachers, doctors, nurses, college and high school kids, truckers, limo drivers and Judges relatives, and was named as one of the Top Three Criminal Lawyers in Pasadena, Texas. Frank has practiced law in the State of Texas for over forty-six years. He handles all aspects of family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, post-divorce modifications and enforcement, adoption, paternity, grandparents’ rights, property division, family law-related appeals, mediations and arbitrations.
Frank offices at 3668 Burke Road, Pasadena, Texas 77504 with his wife Donna of fifty years and his daughter Kellie who is his office manager. His law practice is run by family and he handles each client’s case as though they were a member of his own family.
